Is Pain Or
Injury
Keeping You
From The
Active Life You
Deserve?

If you’ve found your way to this page, it’s likely that you have some sort of injury, pain, or movement limitation.

Perhaps you’re having a hard time deciding on exactly what to try first?

Or maybe you’ve already tried various treatments but you’re still in pain?

Many of our clients find us after their physician told them “you just need to rest,” but rest alone wasn’t the answer and every time they tried to be active again, the pain would return.

Many have been given pain pills and muscle relaxers but don’t like using them, don’t want to become dependent on them, and know that those things are not treating the true causes of their pain.

Some have tried physical therapy before but were at a clinic where they just repeated a bunch of exercises they could do on their own time, and the physical therapist rushed from one patient to the next … rarely using any hands-on manual therapy or spending much one-on-one time with them.

Some have relied on their personal trainer or massage therapist to fix the problem even though those professionals don’t have the training or legal scope of practice to diagnose and treat complex pain/injury.

Some have even had surgery that didn’t solve the problem, and occasionally made them even worse.

Does any of the above sound like your current situation? …

You Are Not Alone

If you can relate to any of the above scenarios, please know that you are not alone. Here are a few statements from people, probably a lot like you, who were in pain and found answers with our unique, one-on-one care and hands-on approach:

I can’t believe how long I struggled (pretty sure it was over 2 years) to figure out what was wrong with my leg (and, gosh, how many awful drugs I took to help me live w the pain!) and then BOOM! Carter Physiotherapy almost magically heals me. I know I’m technically not fully healed yet. I still have a ways to go but in the big picture, I’m healed when you compare where I was to where I am now. You have given me my life back!!!!

Austin, TX

After trying multiple Physical Therapy places that accepted my insurance and having negative to incredibly negative experiences at each of them (30 short minutes of people so obviously checked out, attention divided, giving me some exercise worksheets and sending me on my way, etc), I decided I’d go see a PT that doesn’t bill my insurance in hopes that I’d get better care. BEST DECISION EVER. This is the first time in 3 years that I feel like I have an understanding what’s going on in my body and what we’re doing to solve the problem.

Austin, TX

After doing some research, I drove all the way to Austin and I am very glad I did. Over the past few years I’ve had achilles and hip surgery that has created constant back pain … We talked for almost an hour before we got started with any therapy. I appreciated this because most doctors and therapists I had previously seen took no interest in what I had to say. Once we got started with hands-on therapy, I could immediately tell that this was a unique style of treatment.
